Rolex Datejust Thunderbird Ref. 1625 ! This is a collectible vintage 14k yellow gold and stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Turn-O-Graph ref. 1625!! This rare find has the original bi-directional rotating bezel in 14k yellow gold! The champagne dial is aged (see photos) and reads: Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified T Swiss T! This is a great collectible Rolex! The watch is in a 36 mm stainless steel case with 14k "thunderbird" bezel and will fit 20 mm straps. The case and bezel have dings and scratches. See photos! Serial number is 1935XXX and case back is date coded IV.68. (4th qtr of 1968) The model and serial numbers are faint, but are readable between the lugs. The dial is missing some of the luminous dots and others are darkened with age. You can see dial condition in the photo. The watch is currently running and is keeping time within about 10 sec/day according to our timing machine. We do not know the service history on this watch and recommend it be serviced after purchase. We do not guarantee the timekeeping on this watch-you will have to have it serviced.
