Description

This vintage Rolex watch from the 1970s features a silver case and a black dial with fluted bezel and chronometer, date indicator, and Swiss made features. The watch has a mechanical automatic movement and 26 jewels, with a lug width of 20mm and a case size of 36mm. The band is made of stainless steel and has a Rolex Jubilee style, with a band width of 20mm. This classic wristwatch is not water resistant as it is an over 50 years old vintage and does not come with papers or original box/packaging. It has been customized and is a great addition to any watch collection. The reference number is 1601 and the brand is Rolex. I am so proud of being able to offer you a gorgeous vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Ref.1601 with SUBMARINE STYLE dial which has been refurnished / repainted professionally and looks so handsome and smart. The dial was silver color. I have it repainted professionally like submarine style. The Mercedez-Benz hands are original and authentic Rolex. The stainless steel Oyster case, screw down caseback, white gold fluted bezel and crystal are all in good condition for its age. 36mm stainless steel Oyster case with a screw down Rolex crown and Rolex Jubilee bracelet have remained in good condition with general wear but no significant damage. In fully working order- runs strong and tells good time, powered by a reliable Rolex 1570 movement with 26 jewels. Reference and serial numbers are both sharp and strong. Serial number 329**** says it dates to 1973. The original Rolex Jubilee bracelet will fit up to 7.2 inches wrist. The acrylic crystal has been replaced by the new one just before listing this Beauty.
