This is the bottom base plate that Kirby sells in order to install a Sentria (new style shell) or TriStar 4 (including the Master-Touch and Powerglide models from 1987-1993). It will not work on the Classic II. Newer machines have a plastic bottom plate. This fits the Sentria models UG, UN , SBY, UNU, UGB, and UGG series from 1994-2009. It also fit's the G6 series from 1993-1999 UG The Bottom Plate in G3, G4, G5, G6 Sentria SentriaVac models as well as the Ultimate G. Vacuum. The Kirby G6 & Sentria cleaner's bottom plate is where the power of the machine is transferred to the floor. It is vital that this part be kept in good condition at all times for proper function.
